A number of Internet finance companies have transformed themselves from start-ups to public companies with billion-dollar valuations in the United States. Mobile technology also plays a pivotal role in driving new forms of electronic payment, new payments architecture, crowdfunding platforms and peer-to-peer lending platforms. In light of the transformative trend, HKIFA has organised an Executive Certificate in Internet finance in collaboration with HKU SPACE, a leading continuous education provider in Hong Kong. The Executive Certificate programme aims at equipping students with the latest industrial knowledge in the innovative aspects and applications of Fintech. It also focuses on the overall context within which Fintech operates, including the Fintech regulatory framework, the emergence of regulatory technology (RegTech), as well as the evolution of digital technology and mobile commerce in a financial context.
